Turkey has strongly condemned the terror attack in central Barcelona that left at least 13 people dead and dozens of others injured on Aug. 17.       

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan offered condolences to the Spanish king on Aug. 17 following the attack.

Greek PM Alexis Tsipras tweeted out his support to the families of the victims of the Barcelona terrorist attack and his solidarity to the Spanish people. “These dare ifficult times. The thoughts of all of us are in Barcelona. We express our solidarity with the Spanish people and our sympathy with the families of the victims”, the PM wrote.

Border police officers hand foreign drivers brochures with information on road traffic rules in Bulgaria. The brochures are handed upon entry to the country and are issued in four languages: Bulgarian, Turkish, German and English, the Ministry of Interior said on 15th of august, reported BNT. 

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic on Wednesday sent a telegram of condolences to Premier of the People's Republic of China Li Keqiang.

Greek actor Dimitris Siachos has died at the age of 44 after a long life battle with cancer. Siachos was first diagnosed with cancer at the age of 24, and while doctors at the time gave him little hope, his will for life proved stronger. The disease appeared again when he turned 43 last year.
