Shopping center investments in Türkiye have lost momentum with only seven applications filed with authorities to build new malls in the past three years.

Rönesans Enerji has announced it has taken another key step towards achieving Türkiye's renewable energy goals with a milestone investment into three wind turbine projects with the Nordex Group.

This project will mark Rönesans Enerji's first renewable investment after TotalEnergies acquired a 50 percent stake in Rönesans Enerji last month.

TotalEnergies has become a 50 percent partner in Rönesans Enerji, a subsidiary of Rönesans Holding, one of Türkiye's largest conglomerates.

One of Turkey's largest conglomerates, Rönesans Holding has signed four agreements in Russia, the Turkish holding announced on May 26.

A joint venture between TAV Construction and Ballast Nedam, which is owned by Turkey's Rönesans Holding, will build the planned new pier at Amsterdam's Schphol Airport.

Turkey ranked in second place after China for the number of contracting companies building the largest volume of projects across the world outside their home countries for the 10th year in a row, according to the latest list of the world's "top 250 contractors" by the magazine Engineering News Record (ENR).

Turkey's Rönesans Health Investment and Japan's Sojitz have concluded a $1.5 billion (163 billion Japanese yens) financial deal with eight international investors for their joint city hospital in central Istanbul. 

The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) said in a statement on March 10 that it has finalized the key terms of cooperation with Rönesans Holding, the construction, real estate development and investment company. 

RDIF said it formed a consortium of the world's leading sovereign wealth funds to invest in the development of Rönesans Holding's projects in Russia.

Ballast Nedam, owned by Turkey's Rönesans Holding, will undertake the renovation works of the Amsterdam ArenA stadium, one of the hosts of the 2020 European Championships, said the company in a statement on Feb. 1.
