Some circles aim to use 'Armenia issue' to divide Turks, official says
Some circles are seeking to use the Armenian allegations over the events of 1915 to create divisions within the Turkish community, the country's communications director said Jan. 14.
Fahrettin Altun's remarks came after a meeting of the High Advisory Board under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in the capital Ankara.

Since the Turks (in the majority) and Kurds (in the minority) shook hands to live happily ever after with the foundation of a common state based on a common religion they, in a time of peace, have always prepared for war.
Halki seminary to reopen if Mosque is allowed to operate in Thessaloniki
“Turkey is supporting the immediate reopening of the Halki seminary if Greece allows at least one mosque to operate in Thessaloniki”, stated Turkish President Erdogan, in a meeting on the Armenian genocide issue.
A Turkish writer, however, stated that Greece does not seem willing to let a mosque operate in Thessaloniki.
