BELGRADE - The security situation in Serbia is stable but there are indicators of potential destabilisation in the Autonomous Province of Kosovo-Metohija, says Serbian Armed Forces (SAF) Chief of General Staff Gen Milan Mojsilovic.

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - The so-called Kosovo Police, which raided and illegally closed the building of the Kosovska Mitrovica provisional municipal authority on Friday, denied entry to the building on Monday to Serb employees who attempted to go to their workplaces.

The employees gathered outside the building and police SUVs are deployed in the area, a Tanjug correspondent reports.

JARINJE - The so-called Kosovo Police apprehended a Serb man at the Jarinje administrative crossing on Wednesday for allegedly showing a counterfeit freight transport document of Pristina's ministry of environment and spatial planning.

The man, who is a Serbian national, was apprehended on orders from the prosecutor's office, the so-called Kosovo Police said in a statement.
