In a demonstration of solidarity and support, Bulgaria is set to contribute €60,000 (117,350 BGN) to Ukraine through the OECD Program. The bill for the ratification of the agreement is scheduled for a vote on Friday, emphasizing Bulgaria's commitment to aiding Ukraine's recovery and economic development.

The US Senate approved a resolution ratifying the protocols for the accession of Finland and Sweden to NATO after the historic decision of these two countries to renounce their neutrality due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, "AFP" reported.

Ljubljana – The parliamentary Foreign Policy Committee discussed on Wednesday a bill to ratify the protocols on Finland and Sweden’s accession to NATO and decided to propose to the National Assembly to pass it. The committee proposed that the bill be discussed at an emergency session on Thursday.

Parliament ratified the protocols on the accession of the Republic of Finland and the Kingdom of Sweden to the North Atlantic Treaty.

This is happening after the NATO summit at the end of June decided to invite the two countries to the Alliance. With the accession of Finland and Sweden, the number of member states will increase to 32.

The Council of Ministers has approved a draft contract between the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands for the purchase of two minehunters for the amount of EUR 1 996 000 excluding VAT, the government press service announced.
