Five more million cubic meters remains to be pumped out
BELGRADE - There is a little over five million cubic meters of water left to be pumped out of the Tamnava - Zapadno Polje open coal mine pit, out of the 187 million cubic meters brought by the flooding in May last year, RB Kolubara Director Milorad Grcic said Friday.

Kolubara mines worker dies in accident
BELGRADE -- An accident in the Kolubara strip coal mine, southwest of Belgrade, on Thursday left a worker dead, the company, RB Kolubara, has announced.
The 45-year-old, B.A., died in the Tamnava-West Field mine where he was working on assembling machines.

Grcic: Serbia will have enough coal this winter
BELGRADE - Serbia will have enough coal from the Kolubara open pit mines this winter, and the coal mining process could be made more difficult by heavy snow and low temperatures, but it will not be jeopardized, Kolubara Director Milorad Grcic told Tanjug.

Coal production resumes in Tamnava West Field
LAZAREVAC -- Coal is being mined again in the Tamnava - West Field (Zapadno polje) strip mine, "the most significant open pit of the Kolubara mining basin," Tanjug reported.
This section of the mine was flooded in May.

Coal production in Tamnava resumes
KOLUBARA - Coal is being mined again in the Tamnava - Zapadno polje mine pit, the most significant open pit of the Kolubara mining basin which was inundated in the May flooding.
The production in the open pit was restarted in the presence of Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, who said that the Serbian energy system will be stable and that there will be no restrictions.
