More working-age Greeks living in other EU countries, data show
The share of Greek nationals aged 20 to 64 living in other countries of the European Union rose to 6 percent in 2017 from 4.7 percent in 2007, data from Eurostat have shown.
In contrast, the share of Cypriot nationals residing abroad decreased from 7.1 percent in 2007 to 3.9 percent in 2017.
Fewer marriages, more divorces in Turkey in 2017: TÜİK
The number of couples who got married in Turkey decreased by 4.2 percent in 2017 compared to the previous year, while the number of those who divorced increased by 1.8 percent since 2016, according to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) on March 2.

Levels of self-reported happiness among all individuals in Turkey were 58 percent in 2017, slightly down from 61.3 percent in 2016, according to figures released the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) on Feb. 23.
Greek credit contracts 1.6 pct y/y in November
Total credit in Greece's banking system contracted 1.6 percent year-on-year in November after a 1.5 percent decline in the previous month, Bank of Greece data showed on Friday.
Credit extended to the government fell 5.1 percent after decreasing by 4.9 percent in October, the central bank said.

Russia, China and Greece greatest friends of Serbia - poll
More than half of Serbian citizens (53 percent) believe that Serbia should not host military bases of any of the great powers.
That is according to a poll carried out by Demostat.
The survey found that 20 percent think that Russia should be allowed this, while two percent picked the US.
46 pct of Serbians willing to fight for their country - survey
Serbians have placed tenth on a list of 28 European nations whose citizens are willing to fight for their country.
According to a WIN/Gallup International survey, the nations in Europe's south and west are in the bottom part of this list.
Finns top it with 74 percent, followed by Turks (73 percent), Ukrainians (62 percent), Russians (59 percent).

A new study released by the Berlin Institute for Population and Development suggests that Greece is set to lose up to 18 percent of its population by the middle of the century.

366,800 Bulgarians traveled abroad in February, which is 30.4 percent up on the same month of last year, according to National Statistical Institute data.
The growth rate is highest for the following destinations: Austria - 54.8 percent, Romania - 52.5 percent, France - 45.1 percent, Italy - 41.5 percent.

Istanbul sees 16 percent plunge in foreign arrivals in first two months of 2017: Data
The number of foreign tourists visiting Istanbul plummeted 16 percent between January and February this year, official data from the Istanbul Culture and Tourism Directorate showed on March 7.
Istanbul experienced a year-on-year plunge in foreign arrivals by 19.2 percent in January and 12.5 percent in February.
