Court releases three suspects in top officials' wiretapping case
An Ankara court has ruled for the release of three arrested suspects in the case into officials from Turkey?s top science body and telecommunications authority on charges of illegally wiretapping the encrypted phones of high-ranking state officials, including then-Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdo?an.

Israeli Deputy Parliament Speaker Oren Hazan has organized crime links in Bulgaria, a story published by the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) reads.
OCCRP cites on its website an investigation by its partner Bivol (run by Atanas Chobanov, who is Bulgarian).

Miner killed in accident due to negligence in Edirne, family claims
One miner was killed in the northwestern province of Edirne on Jan. 4, with alleged negligence causing the first death in a mining accident in Turkey in 2015.
Ahmet Arslan, 43, died inside a coal mine when the chain connecting the tramcars broke.
