Moscow-based daily Kommersant is reporting that the presidential bid of Aleksandar Vucic represents "a serious obstacle" to the plans of Tomislav Nikolic.

Turkish authorities decision to take over Akfel Holding, the largest private importer of Russian natural gas to Turkey, has left Russian giant Gazprom at a quandary, Sputnik has reported citing Kommersant newspaper. 

"We have been simply deprived of the most effective and profitable gas seller in Turkey," a source familiar with the matter said, as quoted by the Kommersant newspaper.

Chinese authorities on Feb. 28 shut down the social media accounts of a tycoon nicknamed "The Cannon" after he criticised the ruling Communist Party's tightening grip on the media.

Russia could restore the licenses of Turkish-owned tour operators that were revoked as part of Moscow's sanctions against Turkey, the RIA Novosti news agency reported on Jan. 11.
