The Japanese car manufacturer Nissan Motor has described as the reports that it is considering breaking its alliance with Renault as completely false BNR reported.

"Nissan is in no way considering dissolving the Alliance," the Japanese carmaker said in a statement Tuesday

Japanese investigators have sent a request to Interpol to include the wife of the former Nissan carmaker boss Carlos Ghosn on the international wanted list, the agency said.

Lebanese prosecutors imposed a travel ban on former Nissan's chief Carlos Ghosn, the Lebanese National Agency reported.

"Based on the INTERPOL red-flag warrant, the Lebanese prosecution decided to impose a ban-travel on Carlos Ghosn," it said.

The decision by Judge Ghassan Ouiedat also requires Ghosn to keep authorities informed of his place of residence.

Fugitive car mogul Carlos Ghosn vowed to clear his name in his first public appearance after leaving Japan illegally.

"I'm here to clear my name," he said at a news conference in Beirut, where he arrived nearly two weeks ago. He fled Japan, where he is facing trial for financial misconduct.

Tokyo prosecutors on Jan. 8 raided a Japanese lawyer's office where former Nissan Chairman Carlos Ghosn had visited regularly before skipping bail last week and fleeing to Lebanon.

A manager at Turkish jet operator MNG Jet has told authorities that he assisted unwittingly in the escape of ex-Nissan boss Carlos Ghosn from Japan because he had been threatened by a former acquaintance, daily Hürriyet reported on Jan. 4.

The former Nissan boss was under house arrest in Japan, but escaped.

Interpol has released a "Red Notice" on the arrest of former Nissan director.

The request was sent to Lebanon, where Carlos Ghosn fled, hiding from a court in Japan. Beirut's security services have said they have not yet provided the "red bulletin" to the judiciary.

Seven people were detained in Istanbul over aiding ex-Nisan CEO Carlos Ghosn's escape from Japan to Lebanon, according to security sources on Jan. 2.

Police squads detained the suspects; four pilots, two employees for a private ground service company and one operations director for a courier company, the sources said.
