Blast at Syrian camp near Turkish border kills 35
At least 35 Syrians were killed and many more wounded in a blast on Oct. 6 at a camp at the town of Atmeh near the border with Turkey.
A blast occurred at around 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 6 at the refugee tent camp in Atmeh, which lies across the border from Turkey's southern district of Reyhanlı, which killed at least 35 Syrians and wounded multiple others, Doğan News Agency reported.

Turkish soldier killed by gunfire from across border with Syria
One soldier was killed on Sept. 9 as a result of a gunfire from across the Syrian border in the Reyhanl? district of Hatay province.
Infantryman Gökhan Çak?r, 21, was wounded at 2 a.m. as military personnel at the Cilvegözü border post were patrolling beside the Syrian border following a notice by soldiers on duty regarding a disturbance on the Syrian side.
Turkey starts building concrete wall on border with Syria
Turkish media are reporting that Turkish authorities have started building a 45-kilometer-long concrete wall on the border with Syria.
The Turkish Dogan news agency said on Friday a 12-kilometer stretch near Reyhanli in Hatay province has already been built.
