BELGRADE -- Vojislav Šešelj has returned to Serbia after spending eleven and a half years in detention at the Hague Tribunal in the Netherlands.

Šešelj "will destabilize traitorous regime"

BELGRADE -- SRS deputy leader Nemanja Šarović says Vojislav Šešelj's return to Serbia "will not cause chaos, but will only destabilize the traitorous regime."

He pointed out that he spoke with Šešelj on the phone on Monday morning, when Šešelj told him he did not know when he would return to Serbia.

Šešelj likely to be released on Tuesday

BELGRADE -- It will be known on Monday when the leader of the Serb Radical Party (SRS) Vojislav Šešelj will return to Serbia, Rasim Ljajić has said.

The head of the Commission for Cooperation with the Hague Tribunal (ICTY) and the deputy prime minister noted that Šešelj will most likely arrive on Tuesday.

BELGRADE - Zoran Babic, the head of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) group in the Serbian parliament, said on Friday that Vojislav Seselj's return to Serbia is not a cause for concern for the party as the policy he advocates is long outdated.

The Hague Tribunal has released the Serbian ultra-nationalist Vojislav Seselj on health grounds -although his marathon trial is not yet over.

Hague grants seriously ill Šešelj provisional release

THE HAGUE, BELGRADE -- The Hague Tribunal (ICTY) has granted provisional release to the leader of the Serb Radical Party (SRS), Vojislav Šešelj.

This was confirmed late on Thursday for B92 by Hague spokesperson Magdalena Spalinska.

Hague decision on Šešelj "in next few days"

KRUPANJ -- Rasim Ljajić says he expects a decision of the Trial Chamber of the ICTY on a possible provisional release of Vojislav Šešelj to be made "in a day or two."

Panos Kammenos, leader of the right-wing anti-bailout Independent Greeks party, has called for Karolos Papoulias to quit as President and open the way for early elections.

The Hague Tribunal is considering allowing Serbian Radical Party leader Seselj, who has cancer, to go to his home country for treatment if Belgrade provides security guarantees.
