Fewer road traffic accidents recorded in March
Road traffic accidents were down by 4 percent in March 2014 compared to the same month the previous year, according to figures released by the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) on Friday.
According to the report, there were 899 road accidents in March 2014 against 936 in March last year.

Bulgaria To Consider Lowering Of Highway Speed Limit
Experts are considering the lowering of the maximum speed on highways from 140 km/h to 130 km/h, as it was until recently.
At the double highway pile up on Trakia highway on Monday, most of the cars were driving at 140 km/h. The high speed, combined with the thick fog in the area caused the crash of 21 cars. Two people were killed and 15 were injured.
