Yefim Bronfman | Thessaloniki | April 20
Renowned pianist Yefim Bronfman and Norwegian conductor Terje Mikkelsen join the Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra at the northern port city's concert hall (tch.gr) on April 20. The Soviet-born Israeli-American soloist will be performing Schumann's Concerto for Piano and Orchestra and Beethoven's Fifth Symphony.

The Zoo bar and cafe in the northern suburb of Halandri presents soprano Katerina Doxastaki and pianist Theodoros Kotepanos in an evening dedicated to German romanticism featuring compositions by Robert Schumann. The three works that will be performed are "Liederkreis" Op. 39 (1840), "Gesange der Fruhe" Op. 133 (1953) and "Frauenliebe und Leben" Op. 41 (1840).

ERT Symphony Orchestra | Athens | January 9
The ERT Symphony Orchestra will perform works by Bedrich Smetana, Robert Schumann, Franz Schubert, Hector Berlioz and Nikos Christodoulou, who will also conduct, at the Athens Concert Hall on Monday, January 9. The ensemble will be joined by baritone Dimitris Tiliakos. The concert starts at 8.30 p.m. Admission is set at 10 euros (5 euros reduced).
