Royal Mail facing ‘systemic failure’

Britain's Royal Mail has "systemically failed" to meet its mail delivery requirement, lawmakers have said, calling upon regulator Ofcom to probe the postal operator.
"We believe that Royal Mail has systemically failed to deliver against parts of its universal service obligation," read a report from the cross-party Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Committee.

Workers at Felixstowe port in southeastern England on Aug. 21 began an eight-day strike, the first in 30 years, as decades-high inflation intensifies a cost-of-living crisis.
Greek aviation workers cancel strike
The union representing Greek aviation workers, OSYPA, have called off a strike scheduled to take place on Thursday and Friday which would have seen the cancellation of dozens of domestic flights.
The announcement that the strike was off came just hours after it had been called.
