Chagall painting stolen by Nazis to be auctioned in New York
A painting by Marc Chagall, which was among 15 works stolen by Nazis and eventually returned by France to the heirs of the affected families, will go on sale next month in New York, the Phillips auction house said on Oct. 6.
Loaned Russian paintings stuck in Seoul due to sanctions
Dozens of paintings by renowned Russian artists are stuck in Seoul after an exhibition due to flight sanctions imposed over Moscow's invasion of Ukraine, organisers said Monday.
The paintings by around 50 Russian artists, including Kandinsky, Kazimir Malevich, and Alexander Rodchenko, among others, have been on display in central Seoul at the Sejong Museum of Art since December.

Sofia Art Gallery Opens First 3D Exhibition of Chagall and Dali
The first virtual 3D exhibition opens today the Sofia gallery Oborishte 5. The exhibition is titled "The Bible Through the Eyes of Chagall and Dali". It includes 20 colorful lithographs by Salvador Dali and Marc Chagall, some of them have not been shown before in Bulgaria.

Artists Turn Bulgarian Village Into Open-air Gallery
Bulgarians may have only heard of New York's Museum of Modern Art, MoMA, but now they can see some the most iconic artworks there - without having to fly to the Big Apple.
They just have to come to the village of Staro Zhelezare, near Hisarya and Plovdiv in central Bulgaria, and stroll along its streets, which artists have turned into an open-air gallery.
