The long-awaited sequel to the classic Blade Runner headed the North American box office 35 years after the original film from 1982, reports bgnes.
Although it managed to get to the top spot on his debut weekend, the science fiction film starring Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling did not perform that well in respect to revenues - just USD 31.5 million.

The world tour of Damien Chazelle's Oscar-winning movie "La La Land" will be coming to Greece for three shows, at Athens's Tae Kwon Do Arena in Neo Faliro on Friday and Saturday, September 8 and 9, and Thessaloniki's PAOK Sports Arena on Sunday, September 10.
'La La Land' takes five prizes at British academy awards
Glamour was shot through with grit at the British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) on Feb. 12.
Frothy musical "La La Land" took five prizes, including best picture, but major awards also went to tough welfare-state drama "I, Daniel Blake" and fractured-family stories "Lion" and "Manchester by the Sea."

Esquire: Greek movie “Lobster” no.1 in top 25 list (videos)
Esquire, the renowned Men’s fashion magazine released its top 25 movies for 2016, with the editors’ top pick being Greek director Yorgos Lanthimo’s “The Lobster”, starring Collin Farrell. It is quite an honour for a Greek film to beat out some of the biggest names in the film industry. Another notable Greek entry into its list at 10th spot is Athina Rachel Tsangari’s “Chevaler”.
