Ryanair to halt Athens-Thessaloniki flights
Just days after being hit with negative publicity for redirecting a flight from London destined for Thessaloniki's Makedonia Airport to Timisoara in Romania due to the weather conditions at the Greek airport, Irish low-fare carrier Ryanair announced on Sunday that it will be halting its domestic service linking Athens with Thessaloniki.

Ryanair Ranked 'Worst Airline' For Sixth Year in a Row
Ryanair has been rated as the worst airline for the sixth consecutive year by Which?, with the consumer group claiming the Dublin-based carrier is still catching out passengers with hidden costs, reported the Guardian.
In the annual survey of short-haul airlines, passengers gave the airline the lowest possible rating for boarding, seat comfort, food and drink, and cabin environment.
Ryanair passengers arrive in Thessaloniki more than 20 hours late
For some, the plane trip from London to Thessaloniki took entirely too long.
About 200 passengers were on a Ryanair flight that was diverted Friday night to the Romanian city of Timisoara after foggy conditions in Thessaloniki made it impossible to land the plane there.
Of them, 89 declined the airline's offer to take them to Thessaloniki, about 770 kilometers away, by bus.

Svetoslav Stefchov, aged 26, who did not speak English, believed he had signed contracts for work in Ireland.

Ryanair Cancels 150 Flights on Friday due to Strike Across Europe
AFP - Ryanair will cut 150 flights because of strike action across Europe on Friday, as Brussels urged it to respect workers' rights enshrined in EU law.
The Dublin-based carrier said that it would cancel six percent of flights amid the walk-outs in Belgium, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal and Spain. It had previously estimated 190 would be affected.
