Turkish handball team's bus attacked with stones

The team bus of Turkey's top men's handball side was attacked April 10 by unknown individuals who threw stones at its windows, days after a shooting attack on a top flight football club, reports said.
      
The Be?ikta? Mogaz bus was pelted with stones as the players were playing in an away match in the Mediterranean city of Mersin.
      

Two suspects released in Fenerbahçe bus shooting probe

Two people detained over an armed attack on the bus of Turkish football team Fenerbahçe were released on probation on April 8, according to Rahmi Üstün, mayor of the Sümene district in the Black Sea province of Trabzon.

A Trabzon court ordered the release of the suspects due to a lack of concrete evidence connecting them to the gun attack.

Fenerbahçe urges league suspension after attack

Fenerbahçe football team called April 5 for the suspension of the national league championship in response to an armed attack on its team bus as players returned from a match.
      
"We consider that as long as this attack is not solved in a way that satisfies Fenerbahçe and public opinion, a suspension of the championship is inevitable," the Istanbul club said on its website.
