Ankara denies new deal with Russia on S-400 air defense system
Ankara has denied the statement by a senior Russian official suggesting that a contract was signed with Türkiye for the second batch of the S-400 air defense systems, reiterating that there is no new development to report on the matter.

Turkey and Russia had agreed on the procurement of two batches of Russian-made S-400 air defense systems as part of a deal, but talks on technology transfer extended the delivery time for the second system, Defense Industries Presidency (SSB) head İsmail Demir told state-run broadcaster TRT on April 26.

India has received a new batch of S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems from Russia, India Today reported, citing high-ranking sources.
"According to sources, the batch of S-400 missile systems was delivered by ship and is already in service. Parts of the missile system arrived by air and sea and were quickly deployed to their designated places," the newspaper said.
