Renovated Atlı Köşk welcomes art enthusiasts
Following an extensive nine-month restoration, the Sakıp Sabancı Museum's Atlı Köşk reopened to visitors on Dec. 7.
With renewed presentations of its Arts of the Book and Calligraphy Collection, Painting Collection and Furniture and Decorative Arts Collection, the Atlı Köşk promises a distinctive experience with its expanded display, featuring new acquisitions.

Plays of the season at Sabancı Museum
Müzede Sahne (Stage in the Museum), organized by the Sakıp Sabancı Museum, will be held for the seventh time starting today. The event will meet the audience with a rich and polyphonic program that brings together the successful plays and actors of the season until Aug. 20.

Sabancı Museum invites Yoga lovers
Organized by the Sakıp Sabancı Museum in collaboration with Cihangir Yoga, Müzede Yoga (Yoga in the Museum) celebrates its 10th anniversary on June 10 with an all-day program. The event will start early in the morning at SSM's Fıstıklı Terrace and continue at the Seed. Participants can register for Yoga classes at the Museum free of charge on the museum's website.

‘The Living Pyramid’ at Sakıp Sabancı Museum
The Sabancı University Sakıp Sabancı Museum (SSM) is hosting "The Living Pyramid" by Agnes Denes, a pioneer of ecological art.
Along with "The Living Pyramid," portraying our relationship with nature as a metaphor for our existence in the world, Denes' Manifesto, written in 1969, is also on display in the SSM garden.

Ottoman regiment banner up for sale in auction
An Ottoman regiment banner believed to have been flown on a fort in Qatar at the end of the 18th century is to be auctioned along with dozens of other artifacts on Oct. 28.
The silk-made banner was very possibly captured in the Ottoman defeat at the Battle of Al Wajbah in 1893 by Qatari forces, according to London-based Christie's auction house.

digitalSSM publishes its first e-book
Sakıp Sabancı Museum's digitalSSM Archive and Research Space has published its first e-book titled "Technological Arts Preservation."
The book, edited by Sabancı University's faculty members Selçuk Artut and Cemal Yılmaz, as well as Osman Serhat Karaman, the director of the digitalSSM, offers international content on its subject matter.
