In January 2018, a female crocodile in a Costa Rican zoo laid a clutch of eggs. That was peculiar: She'd been living alone for 16 years.

This is the astonishing moment a crocodile clutches a missing man in its jaws after a witch doctor claimed he summoned it to return the body.
The missing man, identified as Syarifuddin, 41, was bathing in a river with friends when the beast pounced and dragged him beneath the water in Berau, Indonesia, on Tuesday at 6.20pm.

During World War II, The Japanese Imperial Army captured Ramree Island in 1942. The island lies off the Burma coast, 70 miles south of Akyab, now known as Sittwe.

Since Ramree was strategically important, the Allies launched an attack in 1945 to retake the island and establish airbases to support the mainland campaign.

Australian officials are looking to increase the export of crocodile products in 2016, after decades of official protection to stop them being hunted to extinction have increased their numbers.    

The most powerful bite force in the world belongs to the saltwater crocodile with 16,460 newtons. Scientists believe it has a bite as powerful as its prehistoric ancestor the T-Rex! One of its reptilian relatives called ‘Elvis’ chomped into a watermelon causing it to literally explode!
