The International Antalya Sand Sculpture Festival, a prominent cultural and artistic event in the southern province of Antalya, has kicked off its 2024 season at Lara Beach with a compelling theme of "Space Adventure."

The 14th International Antalya Sand Sculpture Festival has been welcoming children from different schools since the launch of the academic year in September.

The fully furnished one-room suites have been built as part of the annual sand sculpture festivals in Sneek and Oss.

The hotel is made of thin walls, covered inside and out with reinforced sand to ensure it doesn’t crumble. However, the bathroom fittings and beds are made out of traditional materials.

The Bulgarian city of Ruse hosts an international sand sculpture festival dedicated to cinema between June 9 and 20.

A total of 613 tonnes of sand will be crafted into ten sculptures, each measuring two metres in height, daily Dnevnik reports.

Organized by Global Art Works, the festival will cover an area of 10,000 square meters area and feature around 200 sculptures.
