Turkish and Russian military elements performed the 12th joint patrol along a key highway in Idlib, northwestern Syria, the Turkish National Defense Ministry said on May 20. 

Turkish and Russian forces have carried out their 11th joint patrol along a key highway in northwestern Syria, Turkey's Defense Ministry said on May 14.
"Within the framework of TUR-RF Agreement/Protocol, the 11th TUR-RF Combined Land Patrol on M-4 Highway in Idlib was conducted with the participation of land and air elements," said the ministry on Twitter.

Turkish and Russian troops have carried out the 10th joint patrol along a key highway in Idlib, northwestern Syria, Turkey's National Defense Ministry said on May 12. 

"Within the framework of TUR-RF Agreement/Protocol, the 10th TUR-RF Combined Land Patrol on M-4 Highway in Idlib was conducted with the participation of land and air elements," the ministry said on Twitter.

Turkish and Russian forces have carried out their ninth joint patrol along a key highway in northwestern Syria, Turkey's Defense Ministry said on May 7.

"Within the framework of TUR-RF Agreement/Protocol, the 9th TUR-RF Combined Land Patrol on M-4 Highway in Idlib was conducted with the participation of land and air elements," the ministry said in a tweet.

Turkish and Russian forces have carried out their eighth joint patrol along a key highway in northwestern Syria, Turkey's National Defense Ministry said on May 5. 

"Within the framework of TUR-RF Agreement/Protocol, the 8th TUR-RF Combined Land Patrol on M-4 Highway in Idlib was conducted with the participation of land and air elements," the ministry said on Twitter.

Turkish and Russian forces conducted the seventh joint patrol along a key highway in northwestern Syria, Turkey's National Defense Ministry said on April 30. 

"Within the framework of TUR-RF Agreement/Protocol, the 7th TUR-RF Combined Land Patrol on M-4 Highway in Idlib was conducted with the participation of land and air elements," the ministry said on Twitter.

Turkish and Russian forces carried out their sixth joint patrol along a key highway in northwestern Syria on April 28.

Turkish and Russian military forces have carried out another joint patrol along a key highway in northwestern Syria, said Turkey's Defense Ministry on April 21. 

"Fifth combined Turkish-Russian land patrol was conducted today by air and ground vehicles on M4 motorway in Syria's Idlib province, as part of the earlier TR-RF agreement," the ministry said on Twitter.

After Syrian regime forces gained control in many villages and towns in the south of the last rebel bastion of Idlib, hundreds of thousands of people are stuck in the country's northwestern region, living in dire conditions and lacking basic needs.

The latest situation in Syria's northwestern province of Idlib is in Turkey's favor, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said on Feb. 27, referring to advance of rebels into Saraqeb town near Aleppo.

"The developments in Idlib are now in favor [of Turkey]," he said speaking at a ceremony of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP).
