Bloomberg: High profile property prices soar in Southern Europe – Athens in the “golden” four
Study shows Southern Europe’s high-end property prices are on the rise. In particular, cities such as Lisbon, Madrid and Athens saw strong growth in residential property prices in the first half of the year, as continued tight supply strengthened the market.
Investment in professional property soars
Investment in the domestic professional property market is expected to reach close to half a billion euros this year, which - if confirmed - would signal a rise of more than 80 percent from last year, when the figure remained under 250 million euros.

Athens office lease rates continue positive course
The trend toward an increase in office rental rates in the Greek capital, first noted in the latter half of 2016, was consolidated in the first half of 2017. A recent analysis of the state of the sector in Europe by Savills indicated that the Athens market is continuing its positive course this year.

Attica office market sees no end to crisis-linked drop in demand

No more than 45,000 square meters of office space has been absorbed by the Attica market through new leases in the last couple of years, according to data compiled by Savills Hellas property services. This does not include existing contract renewals and renegotiations.
