The US president Donald Trump has sacked Anthony Scaramucci from the post of director of communications at the White House just 10 days after he appointed him, world agencies said. According to the Politiko and New York Times, Scaramucci was released at the request of the new head of the White House office, John Kelly.

President Donald Trump's new communications director exploded the smoldering tensions at the White House into a full-fledged conflagration Thursday, angrily daring Trump's chief of staff to deny he's a "leaker" and exposing West Wing backstabbing in language more suitable to a mobster movie than a seat of presidential stability.

Donald Trump's new communications chief has deleted tweets in which he shared views contrary to the U.S. president's own, saying they were a distraction.

The day after he started his new job on July 21, Anthony Scaramucci, a New York financier, cleared up his Twitter trail of remarks in which he differs from Trump on illegal immigration, climate change, Islam and even gun control.

Sean Spicer resigned as the White House press secretary, TASS reported, citing The New York Times.

According to the US news agency, Spicer's decision is disagreeing with US President Donald Trump's decision to appoint financier Anthony Scaramucci as director of White House communications.

White House spokesman Sean Spicer abruptly resigned on July 21 following the appointment of Wall Street financier Anthony Scaramucci as the executive mansion's Communications Director. 

Spicer reportedly told President Donald Trump he disagreed with Scaramucci's appointment. 

CNN accepted the resignations Monday of three journalists involved in a retracted story about a supposed investigation into a pre-inaugural meeting between an associate of President Donald Trump and the head of a Russian investment fund.
