One in three student suspensions for mobile phone use cccur in Attica
According to the Ministry of Education, more than 6,043 students have been suspended for mobile phone use since the beginning of the school year.
While teachers have welcomed the new ban on mobile phones with relief, many parents have expressed strong opposition in defense of their children.

Rhodes teacher dismissed after locking pupil in classroom
A teacher on the island of Rhodes who allegedly locked a primary school pupil in a classroom at the end of a lesson as a punishment has been dismissed, reports said on Monday.
The decision to dismiss the teacher was taken by Education Minister Costas Gavroglou after he was informed of the incident on June 7.

Explosion crashed private school in Minneapolis, AP reported. At least three people are in critical condition and another four are in severely injured, CNN reported.
Rescue teams continue to search for two adults among the ruins. At the moment, they are considered to be dead.
