"Objects are nothing on their own. Everyone talks of masterpieces because that is what museums call them. Would they stop being masterpieces if we stopped calling them that?

Olbia, the Ancient Greek colony in Ukraine, opposite Berezan island, was founded in the 7th century BC by colonists from Miletus. Its harbor was one of the main emporia on the Black Sea for the export of cereals, fish and slaves.

2,400-year-old bongs of pure gold, believed to have been used by royalty, were uncovered in Russia by archeologists at a Scythian kurgan (burial mound) at the Caucasus Mountains in southern Russia. The site, discovered in 2013, had been looted and not much was presumed to lie within, however they found the bongs with drug residue under a thick layer of clay on the ground.
