VIENNA - Serbia's Acting PM and FM Ivica Dacic, who is on a two-day visit to Austria, said in Vienna on Friday he would once again highlight the Serbian policy of peace, stability and reforms, aimed at ensuring the country's soonest possible EU accession.

Austria's new centre-right leader Sebastian Kurz called for snap elections on Sunday, heralding the imminent collapse of the ruling coalition after months of in-fighting, reported AFP.

"In my view the first step is a joint proposal for early elections," Kurz said at a news conference in Vienna after he was unanimously voted head of the People's Party (OeVP).

Turkey's withdrawal of some NATO cooperation with partner countries is only aimed at Austria, a spokeswoman for Ankara's mission to the military alliance said on March 16.
