Security Strategy

The defence budget is set to reach 2% of GDP by 2024, quoted by the Bulgarian National Television. 

This is envisaged in the National Security Strategy, adopted by Parliament on 14th of March.

The government approved the project for updating the National Security Strategy of Bulgaria and proposed to the National Assembly to accept it. The strategy has not yet been published, reports mediapool.
