5.0 earthquake hits off the west coast of Turkey
A 5.0 magnitude on the Richter scale was recorded in the southwest of Turkey, 31km southeast of Mugla, the USGS said.
The earthquake occurred at 20:02 (GMT) – 22:02 (Greece time) at a depth of 10 kilometres, according to the Institute
The earthquake was felt in Rhodes, causing concern to the inhabitants of the islands of the Dodecanese.

Moderate quake hits off southern coast of Crete
A moderate tremor measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale rattled the southern Aegean island of Crete at 8.12 a.m. on Thursday morning, the Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens reported.
The quake's epicenter was located 57 kilometers southwest of Iraklio at a depth of 23 kilometers.

Romania's Vrancea Rocked by New Quake
A 4.1-magnitude earthquake has been measured in Vrancea country, Romania, state-run Agerpres agency says.
The Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre puts its magnitude at 4.
There have been no immediate reports of casualties.
The epicenter has been located at a depth of 100 km.

At Least 108 Killed in Nepal Earthquake - Report
The death toll in the massive 7.9 magnitude earthquake in Nepal has risen to at least 108 people.
According to reports of Al Jazeera, based on an initial estimate of local authorities in Nepal, at least 108 people were killed in the earthquake and dozens were injured.
The eartquake, which struck at 11:56am local time, caused extensive damage to buildings.
