Court has no right to take any action against me: HDP co-chair Demirtaş
One of the co-chairs of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) has appeared in court for the first time since his capture in early November, saying the courts have no right to take any action regarding him as his authority to represent the public was forcefully taken from him.
HDP co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş also said his immunity should not be ignored.

First Turkish-Iranian film on screen in May
The first film to be jointly produced by Turkey and Iran, "Yar?n?n Ad? Ba?ka" (Tomorrow's Name is Different), is set to be released in May.
The film, which was mostly shot in Köprüler neighborhood in the eastern Turkish province of Van's Edremit district, was written by Moharram Zaynalzadeh and directed by Mustafa Dalezy.

HDP wants to see greater Russian role on Kurdish issue
Moscow needs to become more involved in the Kurdish issue, Selahattin Demirtaş, the co-leader of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), has said during a five-day visit to the Russian capital.
Russia does not generally contact Kurds directly, but prefers doing this via Turkey, Demirtaş told dailies Sputnik and Kommersant, Cihan news agency reported.
