Djokovic to skip Paris Masters
BELGRADE - Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic will not be competing at this season's Paris Masters.
Quoting unofficial sources, Sport klub reports Djokovic will not be defending his title at the Bercy, which almost certainly means he will not be playing at the ATP Finals in Turin either, even if he finishes the year in the Top 8 of the ATP rankings.

MONTE CARLO - The Serbian duo of Novak Djokovic and Viktor Troicki has got off to a successful start in the men's doubles event of the Monte Carlo ATP tennis tournament after beating the Luxembourgish-French pairing of Gilles Muller and Gilles Simon 7-5, 6-3 in the opening round on Monday.

BELGRADE - Serbia's top-ranked male tennis player Novak Djokovic will lead the national team in the Davis Cup quarter-final against Spain, player/head coach Nenad Zimonjic announced on Tuesday.
Besides world number 2 Djokovic and Zimonjic, who is world doubles number 56, the Serbian team includes world number 38 Viktor Troicki and world number 85 Dusan Lajovic.

KRALJEVO -- Serbia defeated Croatia 5-0 in the first round of the Davis Cup World Group played over the weekend in the town of Kraljevo.
Serbia was given its fifth win by Viktor Troicki, who on Sunday beat Mate Delic 6-4, 6-3.

KRALJEVO - Serbia stormed past Croatia in the first round of the Davis Cup World Group, claiming a 5-0 whitewash and its place in the quarterfinals, on Sunday.
Serbia was given its fifth win in the tie by Viktor Troicki, who beat Mate Delic 6-4, 6-3.
It took the Serb a little less than an hour to outplay the world number 158.

Djokovic did not exert too much effort to defeat the world number 158 match in the match that lasted one hour and 30 minutes.

Djokovic beats Querrey in U.S. Open second round
NEW YORK - World's best tennis player Novak Djokovic qualified for the U.S. Open third round as he defeated American player Sam Querrey in the Saturday match, 6-3, 6-2, 6-2.
Djokovic scored the eighth victory in the duels against Querrey after less than an hour and a half into the match.
