Djokovic to skip Paris Masters

BELGRADE - Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic will not be competing at this season's Paris Masters.

Quoting unofficial sources, Sport klub reports Djokovic will not be defending his title at the Bercy, which almost certainly means he will not be playing at the ATP Finals in Turin either, even if he finishes the year in the Top 8 of the ATP rankings.

Besides world number 2 Djokovic and Zimonjic, who is world doubles number 56, the Serbian team includes world number 38 Viktor Troicki and world number 85 Dusan Lajovic.

KRALJEVO - Serbia stormed past Croatia in the first round of the Davis Cup World Group, claiming a 5-0 whitewash and its place in the quarterfinals, on Sunday.

Serbia was given its fifth win in the tie by Viktor Troicki, who beat Mate Delic 6-4, 6-3.

It took the Serb a little less than an hour to outplay the world number 158.

KRALJEVO - Serbia took a 1-0 against lead in its 2015 Davis Cup World Group first round tie with Croatia, courtesy of world number one Novak Djokovic, who beat Mate Delic 6-3, 6-2, 6-4 in Kraljevo, central Serbia, on Friday.

Djokovic did not exert too much effort to defeat the world number 158 match in the match that lasted one hour and 30 minutes.
