Serbian Church in Kosovo Sets Terms for ‘Communication’ With Kurti
The Serbian Orthodox Church has given a guarded response to Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti's stated wish to open up dialogue with its best-known cleric in Kosovo, Fr Sava Janjic, the media-savvy abbot of the famous 14th-century Decani Monastery, in western Kosovo.

As Vui says, Kurti talks all the time about Kosovo's cultural heritage and Kosovo's heritage, not Serbian.
Vui said that on the occasion of the letter that Kurti addressed to the abbot of the monastery Visoki Decani, father Sava Janji, in which he presented him with "the commitment of the Kosovo government in the protection of the Kosovo heritage of all communities in Kosovo".

The latest report of the State Department is in favor of Serbia
According to that report, the Serbian Orthodox Church is in big trouble, which, among other things, is facing non-compliance with the court decision regarding the land of the Visoki Decani monastery, and other protected zones are in the same situation, Kosovo online reports.
Happy Easter
The midnight Easter liturgy in the Temple of Saint Sava was served by the newly elected Vicar Bishop Stefan of Remesiana.
His Holiness Patriarch of Serbia Porfirije will serve the Holy Hierarch's Liturgy in the church of St. Sava on Easter, May 2, starting at 9 am, Serbian Orthodox Church announced.

Montenegro to Sign Agreement With Serbian Orthodox Church

"I have been talking with Serbian Orthodox Church Patriarch, Porfirije, and we will soon agree on the date of signing the agreement. This issue must not be the subject of politicization in order to score political points," Krivokapic wrote on Twitter.

The abbot of the monastery of Visoki Decani, Sava Janjic, posted photos of the church of St. John the Baptist in Samodreza village, showing the shrines turned into a garbage dump.
Patriarch in isolation
According to a statement posted on the website of the Serbian Orthodox Church: "Considering that he was in contact with a priest in the previous days who turned out to have a mild and asymptomatic form of COVID-19, His Holiness Patriarch of Serbia Mr. Porfirije will, on the advice of a doctor, be preventively isolated in the coming days".

The new head of the Serbian Orthodox Church addressed the people gathered.
"I pray to God and I ask all of you to support me so that the great and responsible task that is placed before me, on my weak shoulders, I could present joyfully, as the 46th patriarch, and the 57th leader of our church, I be at least a humble representative," said the new patriarch.
Enthronement
As it was announced from the Serbian Orthodox Church, the liturgy at which the solemn act of enthronement in the holiest throne of His Holiness Porfirije, the Archbishop of Pec, Metropolitan of Belgrade and Karlovac and Patriarch of Serbia, will be performed in the St. Michael's Cathedral, starting at 9 am.
