Russia thwarted an attack by 20 Ukrainian drones targeting Moscow-annexed Crimea overnight, the Russian Defense Ministry said Saturday.

Russia says Ukrainian drones hit central Moscow, Crimea
Ukrainian drones hit two buildings in Moscow and an ammunition depot in Russian-annexed Crimea on Monday, Russian officials said, as Ukraine reported another Russian strike on a grain facility.
Russia said it had neutralised two Ukrainian drones over Moscow during the night with no casualties reported.

Kyrylo Budanov, head of Ukraine's military intelligence service, announced that last night's explosion at the ammunition depot was an operation by Ukrainian special forces.
The explosion occurred at a Russian military base in Crimea.

Russia says downed 28 drones over Crimea
Russian forces have downed 28 Ukrainian drones over Crimea overnight, Moscow's defence ministry and a local official said on Tuesday.
Seventeen drones sent by Ukraine's forces overnight were "destroyed" and another 11 were "suppressed" by electronic means, Russia's defence ministry said in a statement.
It said there were no casualties or damage.

Traffic on the key bridge connecting Crimea to Russia's mainland has been halted amid reports of explosions.
The health ministry in Russia's Krasnodar region, which lies at the eastern end of the bridge, said two people were killed in an unspecified accident on the bridge and their daughter was injured.
Six drones downed in Crimea, no victims: governor
Six drones were downed or blocked overnight in Russian-annexed Crimea, the region's Moscow-appointed governor said on Thursday.
"During the past night, six drones were shot down or blocked ... in different parts of Crimea," Sergei Aksyonov wrote on Telegram, adding "there were no victims or injured".

Russian authorities reported shooting down Ukrainian drones Saturday in Crimea, while Ukrainian officials said Russian forces pressed ahead with efforts to seize one of the few cities in eastern Ukraine not already under their control. The Russian military also kept up its strikes in Ukraine's north and south.
