Authorities continue the investigation in the death of a man at the venue of the Burning Man cultural festival in the Black Rock desert in the US state of Nevada, even as thousands of people remain trapped on site due to heavy rains, CNN reported.
Turkish-American re-elected as Virginia city Sheriff
Metin "Matt" Cay has been re-elected to be Falls Church, Virginia's Sheriff after running unopposed, according to preliminary results.
Cay won Tuesday's election with nearly 99% of the vote. Write-in candidates accounted for just 70 votes, results posted on the city's website showed.
Man arrested trying to quarantine on private Disney island
Florida deputies arrested a man who had been living out his quarantine on a shuttered Disney World island, telling authorities it felt like a "tropical paradise."
Orange County Sheriff's deputies found Richard McGuire on Disney's Discovery Island on April 30. He said he'd been there since April 27 or April 28 and had planned to camp there for a week, according to an arrest report.

6 dead, 4 children, in shooting at Houston home
A man involved in a domestic dispute opened fire at a suburban Houston home Wednesday evening, killing six people, four of them children, and wounding one teenage girl, authorities said.
The suspect surrendered after a three-hour standoff with deputies on a nearby street, emerging from his car, raising his hands and sinking to his knees. His identity was not released.
