Man gets suspended sentence for entering neighbors’ properties to smell their shoes
A judge in northern Greece on Thursday imposed a suspended one-month prison sentence on a man convicted of disturbing his neighbors by repeatedly sneaking into their properties to smell their shoes.
The 28-year-old Greek man told the Thessaloniki court that he was unable to explain his behavior, which, he said, had caused him great embarrassment.

A seventh-grade student in the northeastern province of Ordu has secured second place in a science competition for inventing shoes that emit ultrasonic sounds to deter stray dogs.

Woman arrested for selling bootlegged clothing online
Police in Athens have arrested a 42-year-old woman on suspicion of setting up a website to sell bootlegged shoes and clothes to unsuspecting customers.
The shoes and clothes were advertised as being from leading brands but when buyers received the parcels, they found that the products differed from those advertised and were of low value.
