A 12-year-old Palestinian girl tragically lost her life during clashes in the Shuafat refugee camp. AFP reported the devastating news, indicating that the child was fatally wounded amid escalating tensions between Palestinian demonstrators and Israeli forces.

Israeli police and Palestinians clashed in neighborhoods throughout the occupied east Jerusalem overnight Wednesday, some of the fiercest unrest the contested city has seen in months.

A young Israeli who was critically hurt in a Palestinian car attack in Jerusalem died of his injuries early on Friday, raising the death toll to two, doctors said.
      
"The person who was critically wounded in the hit-and-run attack in Jerusalem passed away this morning," said a statement from Hadassah hospital in Ein Kerem.
