Two Bulgarians were detained for illegal camping in Greece, the Foreign Affairs Ministry announced, quoted by bTV. 

A group of illegally camping people, including the two Bulgarians, was detained by the police in Sithonia in the morning of August 1. The same day they were released, while an investigation is currently underway.

Strong downpours lead to flooding in northern Greece

Russian tourist missing since last week found dead in Halkidiki ravine

A coroner is investigating the exact cause of death of a 69-year-old Russian tourist, whose body was found in a ravine in Sithonia, a part of the Halkidiki peninsula in northern Greece.

The unnamed man had been reported missing last Wednesday, when it is believed that he set out for a hike in the area of Neos Marmaras.

His body was found by rescue teams on Friday in a ravine.
