After more than two years of delay due to bureaucratic procedures, the new tallest skyscraper in China - Shanghai Tower in Shanghai's financial district is now welcoming its tenants, Bloomberg writes.

The inhabitants of Lozenets district are protesting against the construction of a 34-floor skyscraper next to their blocks. By project, the building will rise to 120 meters in height and will be ready in the next five years, reported bTV. 

There will be three zones in Sofia where there will be high-rise constructions, said Sofia's chief architect Zdravko Zdravkov to BTV. According to him, these "cities" will guarantee the view of the mountain of Sofia residents as it will keep the height requirement of up to 75 meters in the rest of the city.

There is massive discontent against construction of skyscrapers in Sofia. The intention of constructing a 43-storey building made many inhabitants of "Strelbishte" district angry. They are planning to protest for a second time tonight, says NOVA.
