Slaveykov Square

More than 50 museums and galleries in Sofia will join the "European Night of Museums" initiative. With free admission, there will be exhibitions, concerts, workshops, films and organized tours in cultural spaces in Sofia and the country.

From 14:00 today, in connection with the high summer temperatures, the SofiaMunicipality organizes the distribution of mineral water. This will happen at four points - in the square space at the temple "Sveta Nedelya'', ''Orlov Most'' (''Eagle Bridge'') - near Ariana Lake, in front of the National Palace of Culture and Slaveikov Square.

Bottles of water will be given at four points - in the square space at the temple "Sveta Nedelya'', ''Orlov Most'' (''Eagle Bridge'') - near Ariana Lake, in front of the National Palace of Culture and Slaveikov Square.

The Sofia Library marks the 140th anniversary of the announcement of Sofia as the capital of Bulgaria together with the students and lecturers of the Sofia High School of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy.

For a sixth year in a row August will be marked by the Sofia Breathes urban culture festival.

In separate events due every Sunday of the month, the streets where the festival will take place will be closed to traffic to give way to pedestrians, art performances, and vendor stalls offering food, beverages, and handicraft items.
