Djedovic Handanovic: Serbia to build solar power plant, oil facility with Chinese firms

BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Djedovic Handanovic signed on Thursday a MoU between the Serbian government and the Chinese company Hunan Rich Photovoltaic Science and Technology on a project to build a solar panel factory in Paracin, central Serbia, and a 200 MW solar power plant.

Brnabi stated this in Beijing.
"It is a big deal for us, for our country and all our citizens. We have confirmed mutual partnership, support, friendship in the political and economic sense," Brnabi told reporters.
In the political sense, as she stated, China will never change its position on the issue of Kosovo and Metohija.

Brnabic thanked China for the assistance that China provided to Serbia during the coronavirus pandemic in professional medical care, equipment and support in vaccination.
That, Brnabi added, only strengthened the iron friendship between the two countries, which is deepening with the project of building a factory for the production of vaccines by the Chinese company Sinopharm.
