Djedovic Handanovic: Serbia to build solar power plant, oil facility with Chinese firms
BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Djedovic Handanovic signed on Thursday a MoU between the Serbian government and the Chinese company Hunan Rich Photovoltaic Science and Technology on a project to build a solar panel factory in Paracin, central Serbia, and a 200 MW solar power plant.
Brnabić: Xi Jinping hinted coming to Serbia next year
Brnabi stated this in Beijing.
"It is a big deal for us, for our country and all our citizens. We have confirmed mutual partnership, support, friendship in the political and economic sense," Brnabi told reporters.
In the political sense, as she stated, China will never change its position on the issue of Kosovo and Metohija.
Vucic, HBIS delegation discuss plans for further investments in Serbia

Out of 1.374 new cases of coronavirus, which have been confirmed in Serbia in the last 24 hours, the highest number is in Belgrade, 347.
Less than 100 new infections were recorded in all other cities.

The minister welcomed the Chinese ambassador, who recently began her diplomatic mandate in the Republic of Serbia, and particularly emphasized excellent cooperation with the previous Ambassador of China Li Manchang, adding that he believes that successful cooperation will continue.

"Huge" Chinese-Serbian free zone master plan draft complete
The master plan should be adopted by the end of the year in the Assembly of the town od Smederevo, in order to start construction in 2019.
Brnabic pointed out that the zone should be completed by 2022, but that the first phase will create 2,300 new jobs.
