Thousands of Bulgarians attended Sofia Pride 2022
Thousands joined Sofia Pride 2022. The march in support of the LGBTQ + community (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, intersex and queer people) is being held for the 15th time in a row under the title "Proud to be".
The event took place under heavy police guard.

Sofia Pride marks its 15th edition this week with various activities, including exhibitions, film screenings and, on Saturday June 18, an open-air concert featuring some of the best-known local performers followed by a march for equal rights.
Sofia Pride Celebrates its 15th Anniversary on June 18
"Let's be proud" - this will be the motto of the 15th anniversary of "Sofia Pride", which will be held on June 18 this year in the capital of Bulgaria - Sofia.
As usual in recent years, in the week before the Pride, there will be a number of events of the LGBTQ+ community in our country. Exhibitions, sporting events, film screenings start on June 8 in Sofia.

Cultural Heritage tour Presented to Mark Sofia’s 140th Anniversary as Capital of Bulgaria
As part of the celebrations marking 140 years since Sofia was declared the capital of Bulgaria, the Culture Directorate and the team of the Historical Routes website organized a tour of part of Sofia's cultural heritage, which is called "Behind the Facades of Sofia homes". On 29th of March, the Sofia mayor Yordanka Fandakova was the first to pass on it, reports BNT.
30 New Gas Buses will run on Line 111 in Sofia
On December 28, at 13.00, the new 30 buses of Sofia Metro were be presented, they will run on natural gas.
The event took place in the parking lot of NIM and was attended by Sofia Mayor Yordanka Fandakova, announced Sofia Municipality.

Bulgaria Recognises Rights of Married Lesbian Couple in Historic First
A Bulgarian court has backed the right of a same-sex married couple to reside in the country for the first time in a landmark ruling.
The Sofia City Administrative Court ruled that the French-Australian couple should be allowed to live in Bulgaria together, reports Australian TV network SBS.
