Erdoğan stresses stability in Syria during call with Putin
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan emphasized the importance of ensuring that Syria does not become a source of further instability in the region during a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday, according to a statement by Türkiye's Communications Directorate.
Erdoğan vows to prevent 'revival of terror threat'
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has pledged not to allow terrorism to become a major threat for Türkiye again.
"We will not allow the terror threat that we broke its back to be revived again," Erdoğan said during an event in the eastern city of Bitlis on Aug. 25.

Zühtü Arslan re-elected as president of top court
President of the Constitutional Court Zühtü Arslan has been re-elected as the head of Türkiye's highest court by garnering the votes of eight judges out of 15.
