Bulgarian Ministry of Interior Works at Full Capacity to Detect the Killing of Journalist in Ruse

There is no suspect yet for the brutal murder of the journalist Viktoria Marinova from the city of Rousse. Investigators are looking into all possible versions of the murder, Minister of Interior Mladen Marinov and Chief Prosecutor Sotir Tsatsarov said on 8th of October. They arrived in the city to get acquainted with the work of the forensic workers.

Chief Prosecutors of Bulgaria and Albania Signed Memorandum of Cooperation

Bulgaria's Chief Prosecutor, Sotir Tsatsarov and Albania's Chief Prosecutor, Arta Marku, signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between the two Prosecutor's Offices on 26th of September in Sofia.

The Memorandum provides for cooperation in the area of international legal assistance and mutual exchange of information, the Prosecutor's Office said.

Sofia. In Bulgaria there is real industrial capacity, full mobility and full autonomy of illegal cigarette production, Prosecutor General Sotir Tsatsarov said at a meeting of the Parliament's Monitoring Committee on the Revenue Agencies and Combating Parallel Economy and Smuggling, Focus News Agency reported.

Bulgaria's Prime Minister Met with the Bavarian Chief Public Prosecutor

Bulgaria's Prime Minister Boyko Borissov met with the Bavarian Chief Public Prosecutor Reinhard Roettle, who is on an official visit to Bulgaria at the invitation of Chief Prosecutor Sotir Tsatsarov, the government's press office announced on 19th of September.

The focus of the talks was the opportunity to deepen cooperation in countering organised crime, corruption and terrorism.
