Dow tops 22,000 for 1st time amid Apple rally
The Dow topped 22,000 points for the first time in opening trading on Aug. 2, bolstered by a six percent gain in Apple, the latest blue-chip company to report strong earnings.
About three minutes into trading, the Dow Jones Industrial Average stood at 22,011.48, up 0.2 percent and on track for its sixth-straight record close, as reported by AFP.

Investors love Trump and push Dow over 21.000 points for first time
Investors reacted positively from President Donald Trump’s Tuesday night address to Congress, pushing the Dow Jones industrial average above 21,000 points Wednesday for the first time in its history.
Nasdaq hits another record high
Us stocks were mixed, on Wednesday, in the stock market in Wall Street.
The Nasdaq ended the day at 5283.93, up 0.2% or 8 points from its previous closing high set Tuesday.
Slightly down were the Dow Jones industrial average and the broad Standard & Poor’s 500, which both lost less than 0.1%.

US markets crashed at the opening session on Monday following a renewed rout in global markets due to increasingly nervousness over the economic situation in China.
The Dow Jones industrial average traded about 600 points lower after falling as much as 1,089 points in the open.
