Spartiates trial adjourned again; Kasidiaris release denied
Originally slated to begin in the summer, the trial against 11 former MPs of the far-right Spartiates (Spartans) party was postponed again on Thursday after party chief Vassilis Stingas failed to show up in court, citing obligations in Parliament.

Greek lawmakers Georgios Aspiotis and Michalis Gavgiotakis announced on Tuesday that they was leaving the parliamentary group of far-right Spartiates (Spartans) and would serve as independent MPs, in a letter addressed to the House Speaker.
