Voutsis: Greece to table prior actions bill by Saturday
The draft bill with prior actions demanded by Greece's creditors will be tabled in Parliament on Friday or Saturday, House speaker Nikos Voutsis said in Brussels on Wednesday.
He said MPs will vote on the new measures by Saturday, May 20.

BELGRADE - The presidential elections in Serbia will be called at 1 pm Thursday, Parliament Speaker Maja Gojkovic announced Wednesday.
Speaking to reporters in the parliament building, she added she would announce the date of the elections at the same time.

House speaker sends condolences over deadly mosque shooting in Quebec
Greece's Parliamentary speaker sent condolences to his Canadian counterpart on Monday over Sunday's deadly attack on a Quebec mosque.
"On behalf of the Hellenic Parliament and myself personally, I would like to express outrage at the terrorist attack in Quebec," House speaker Nikos Voutsis wrote to his Canadian counterpart, Geoff Regan.
Greek parliament speaker Voutsis to visit Belgrade
BELGRADE - The Speaker of the Hellenic Parliament, Nikos Voutsis, will be on an official visit to Belgrade on December 18-20, the Greek embassy in Serbia announced in a statement.
On December 20, Voutsis will address Serbian MPs at a special session of the parliament, and meet with Parliament Speaker Maja Gojkovic.

Greek Parliament adopts proposal to cut privileges for former lawmakers
Greek Parliament adopted a proposal tabled by Greek Parliamentary Speaker Nikos Voutsis aimed at cutting benefits and privileges granted to former prime ministers, speakers of the house and heads of parliamentary groups. The move was part of the changes made to the Standing Orders of Parliament to cut costs. All parties approved the propoal with the exeption of Golden Dawn.

Serbian Parliament Speaker Maja Gojkovic Monday sent a message of condolences to Sumitra Mahajan, the speaker of the the lower house of the Indian parliament.
Her message was also addressed to Mohammad Hamid Ansari, the chairperson of the Rajya Sabha, the Council of States, over the loss of life caused by the heat wave that has hit India.
