Authorities in Mexico have slapped a "closure" order on a 3-meter-tall aquatic statue of the Greek god of the sea Poseidon that was erected in May in the Gulf of Mexico just off the town of Progreso, Yucatan.

Britney Spears will publish a highly anticipated memoir this fall, some two years after a court freed her from a strict conservatorship many deemed abusive and exploitative.
The magnetic pop star's book "The Woman In Me" is set for publication on Oct. 24, after Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, acquired it.

Britney Spears, newly free, says she is pregnant
Britney Spears on April 11 announced she is pregnant with her third child, five months after a judge ended the controversial guardianship the pop icon said barred her from having more children.
"I got a pregnancy test... and uhhhhh well... I am having a baby," the 40-year-old said on Instagram.
