Walking off pitch to protest racism is milestone, says Webo
Walking off the pitch during a EUFA Champions League game between Turkey's Medipol Başakşehir and France's Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) on Dec. 8 as a protest against the racist remark by one of the referees was a "milestone," said Pierre Webo, Başakşehir's assistant manager.
Alanyaspor extends stay atop Süper Lig
Alanyaspor beat Beşiktaş 2-1 at home on Dec. 13 to stay atop the Turkish Süper Lig standings.
Anastasios Bakasetas successfully converted a penalty shot in the 26th minute to give a 1-0 lead to the home side.
The Greek international doubled the score in the 79th minute to make things easier for the league leader.

Reds triumph at Barcelona and Belgrade
Olympiakos scored two road wins within 48 hours to return of the top eight of the Euroleague table, while Panathinaikos went down again at home.
The Reds first triumphed at Barcelona, winning 96-88 on Tuesday against the joint leader of the Euroleague, stunning their hosts from the outset with a 12-0 run.

PSG beat Başakşehir to win Champions League group
French football powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) hammered Turkey's Medipol Başakşehir 5-1 in Dec. 9's UEFA Champions League match to win Group H.
PSG drew the first blood at their home Parc des Princes.
In the 21st minute, Brazilian superstar Neymar sent a curling shot outside the area to beat Başakşehir goalkeeper Mert Gunok.
